Moo!

I frequently get questions about my dogs, my photography, my training etc etc so I made these Moo cards to hand out with the pertinent information. I love how they turned out! :-)

Stamina

Eden's stamina is outstanding. She is so fit and athletic! We went on the longest run we've gone on in training so far and she was out front, pulling the entire time. She even had the excess energy to go absolutely insane when a squirrel was dumb enough to cross right in front of her face. I could not be more pleased with what a trooper she is, and wow, she is in amazing shape!!!

Teaching Eden to run around a cone on command, she's smart and silly.

Eden and the Pig

Eden has a pig for a friend. A miniature Juliana to be exact. Her name is Miele. She is a doll. Really smart, her tail is always wagging. I wasn't sure how Eden would be with her as she raced around yipping rather over-excitedly at first and I was nervous she would either try to herd her, or nip her...or both. Miele's hooves struggled with the tile floors but that didn't bother her at all. What a fun little pet for those that can't be around dog/cat dander!! Or for those that have the interest and money to invest in these little cuties :-)

Then Eden wanted to join in on girls' night officially by having a little taste of wine ;-)

Eden's a Runner!

Eden has successfully gone 30 miles with me walking/running as we train for an upcoming race. So proud of my little girl!

Reed's Lake

Took the Two Shorties to Reed's Lake and met Rebecca and Gus for a nice long walk. We went for an hour, about 2.8 miles.

Flyball Demo

Helped our team put on a Flyball Demo in a new building, where we will now be having regular trainings. Eden's been running 3x a week with me so her stamina is considerably better than last time we played Flyball. We introduced the box turn. It went well, she has it pretty well down...only she apparently missed the fact that the the box actually launches a ball out and it nailed her in the side of the head instead...LOL This little girl gives endless entertainment.

 

Someone I respect, who works as a Veterinary Technician and is also a solid dog trainer, came up and commented on how Eden was the most fit and in-shape Corgi she's seen :-D

Rally Debut

Started Eden in a Rally class and she is doing so good! She's super happy and prance-y and definitely does her best even if she doesn't really "get" what I'm asking of her :-) I think she might be able to get her Rally Novice title so I'm keeping my eye out for upcoming trials...

Pumpkin Destroyer!!

Apparently Eden has a pumpkin vendetta! My Mom texted these pictures to me. The stuffed pumpkin was perched on a low table and I guess it was staring at Eden too much. She kept poking it until it was facing away from her. My Mom caved and gave her the pumpkin and the first thing she did was rip its eyes out LOL What a silly little girl!
